Volkswagen Group partners with ev.energy on future mobility

DRESDEN, GERMANY – Volkswagen Group has selected ev.energy as one of five start-ups it will work with as part of its Future Mobility Incubator. Over the coming months, Volkswagen Group and its subsidiary, Elli, will explore how it can make its customers’ EV charging more environmentally friendly, cheaper and easier using ev.energy’s smart-charging software. The partnership will be delivered remotely from London and Berlin, and at Volkswagen’s Transparent Factory in Dresden.

Reinhard de Vries, Managing Director of Technology and Logistics at Volkswagen Sachse, said: “The Future Mobility Incubator is an important project for Volkswagen to anchor fresh and innovative ideas in the Group. It enables us to promote innovation even in challenging global times.”
