We're testing integrating with Tesla Powerwall to improve our Solar product and make your charging more accurate and more responsive! For this BETA we can only read data generated by your Powerwall, we can't make any changes to your settings.

The Powerwall Beta trial will involve us reading data from your Powerwall. We will read data about grid imports/exports, solar production and battery import/exports. We will use the data to track your household export power to keep it at zero import/export during Solar Only charging. This will increase the accuracy of the Solar Only charge mode as we won’t have to rely on the forecast and can instead use real time data.
Initially, for the first couple of weeks, we will just collect the data. Then once we have a better idea how it works we will be able to optimise your Solar charging with the data we collect.
We will not use the data to optimise your standard EV charging. We will also not control the battery. It will follow it’s default behaviours.
What we need from you.
Let us know that you are interested. If you have a Tesla on your account then you don’t need to do anything else. If you don’t we will send you instructions on what to do next. If you want to get off the trial at any point email support@ev.energy.
This BETA program is entirely optional and by signing up you consent to us reading data from your Powerwall. You can opt out of this program at any time by emailing us at support@ev.energy. Your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
